In our 40 years we have seen MANY yarn companies come and go, but few hit so hard as our beloved Shibui. We could not be more thrilled that our dear friends at Madelinetosh decided to pick up two of our all-time favorites, now branded as Tosh Silk Cloud and Tosh Pebble! The exact same yarns and palettes we have loved for years are now back on our shelves with new labels, and a few new designs!

We are all enamored with the delicate lace cowl by Kay Hopkins called Making Waves. You get a choice of 5 or 7 wave sections, but either way this design only takes ONE skein of Tosh Pebble! Shown above in Ash, this is a perfect Springtime project in any color.

Tosh Pebble is a lightly textured blend of recycled silk, fine merino and cashmere. This plied laceweight yarn balances the yin of softness and elasticity, with the yang of durability and strength. It is frequently used doubled, as in this darling new Limestone Beanie pattern. This hat uses 2 skeins and is shown in the color Graphite.

Tosh Pebble also pairs wonderfully with other yarns, like Tosh Silk Cloud. This combination was always a huge hit with Shibui, and we are thrilled to be able to create it once more! With 2 skeins of Silk Cloud and 1 of Pebble, you can knit the ethereal.
